The Lone Star Hiking Trail Conservancy is a non-profit organization sponsoring outings primarily on the Lone Star Hiking Trail (LSHT) in the Sam Houston National Forest and other hiking trails in Texas. We are an American Hiking Society Alliance member. A National Forest is more primitive than a city park and even a State Park.
